Ideal role for an experienced open-pit Production Engineering with leadership experience
The Opportunity:
You'll work closely with a diverse, high-performing team that embody our core values and fuel our success as a Senior Mine Planning Engineer at St Ives.
Reporting to the Superintendent: Mine Planning, you'll deliver project planning, evaluation, and scheduling that drives our medium and long-term success for the operation.

What You'll Do
Ensure the business can make informed decisions by identifying, planning, and communicating extraction strategies, critical path, and high-risk areas as part of an iterative scenario planning process.
Create, support, and manage underground short to medium term mine design, scheduling and evaluation work, including design of all aspects of an open pit mine.
Coach and mentor engineers to add further value to the team

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in mining engineering,
An unrestricted Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency is desirable.
Demonstrated experience in managing/leading a team in a collaborative manner
Extensive underground mining experience in production, ventilation, projects, paste fill, planning and scheduling.
