About the role
The Registered Nurse Opioid Treatment Program coordinates and delivers high-quality person-centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). Nursing care is provided utilising the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery for people with Alcohol or Other Drug (AOD) issues. The Opioid Treatment Program service delivery requires working at a primary site as well as satellite sites within the network.
