Role Description

The Event Assistant Manager role is based on-site at Glen Ewin Estate in the Greater Adelaide Area.

This role is responsible for overseeing all operations staff and reporting to the General Manager.

The individual will lead, train, and roster staff, ensuring events run smoothly and providing exceptional customer service to meet and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities include overseeing event logistics, assisting with event setup and breakdown, and ensuring compliance with venue policies and safety standards. The role will require effective communication with clients and staff, managing timelines, and maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Lead the front of house team to deliver successfull weddings and Event.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationships and cross-functional teamwork.
* Excellent time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
* Flexibility to work hospitality industry hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Knowledge of food and beverage services or hospitality industry practices is beneficial.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Previous event or hospitality experience, and familiarity with regulations and compliance standards, is an advantage
* Ability to roster effectivelystaff based on Event Requirements
