What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced National Program Controls Manager within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business with flexibility to be based in SA, VIC, NSW or QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further. You will be responsible for streamlining and standardising project controls methods across the business. Your focus will be on ensuring the consistent execution of program controls that meet cost, schedule, quality, and regulatory requirements, contributing to the overall success of projects and programs.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Develop and implement consistent and highly effective national program controls processes that align with industry best practices while consolidating existing program controls methodologies across the business to standardise (where it makes sense).Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand current program control methodologies/ operational needs and engage with key clients and external stakeholders to define and address program controls requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.Lead the creation and implementation of program controls methods that align with industry best standards and ensure the consistency of program controls processes to deliver excellence in managing project/program performance.Build and nurture program controls capabilities within the business by developing training programs and mentoring project controls teams.Oversee the successful execution of program controls processes to ensure that programs of work are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.Involvement in program/ project audit cycle to achieve continuous improvement.How you'll connect to the role:
Proven experience (10+ years) in program controls within the utilities sector - ideally water utilities programs of work.Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred (not essential), preferably in a construction, business, management or engineering discipline.Strong knowledge of program controls best practices, industry standards, and methodologies.Experience in developing and implementing program controls processes across programs of work.Experience in cost engineering, planning, scheduling, estimating and risk management.Ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver quality program controls requirements.Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience in motivating and supporting team members and creating an environment for ongoing development.Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
