About the Role
We are currently seeking a permanent regional Principal Business Improvement, reporting directly to the Director of Technology and Improvement for the Australian Region.
The role is primarily based at our Kwinana Pigment Plant (35 mins south of Perth) with a requirement to travel to our South West Operations (near Bunbury), our Northen Operations Chandala (near Muchea and Cataby) and periodically to our site based in NSW (Broken Hill and Balranald).
Key Responsibilities include:
11. Enhance operational performance through improved operations, maintenance and reliability practices
12. Support localisation and change management for implementation of business processes and systems
13. Collaborate with site and functional leadership to develop and implement business improvement plans
14. Represent the Australian Region in Global teams for developing and improving Business Processes
15. Coach site leadership in operational excellence and improvement methodologies
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
16. Bachelors degree of Engineering or equivalent
17. Experience in operations, maintenance and/or reliability roles in an industrial setting
18. Proven ability to lead business improvement programs in mining or manufacturing resulting in improved business outcomes
19. Strong communication, influencing, and facilitation skills
20. Exposure to maintenance processes and systems (desirable)
21. Six Sigma, Black Belt or significant experience in Lean manufacturing systems (highly advantageous)
