About the Role
You will divide your time between customer service at the trade counter, receipting goods, packing orders and managing the presentation of / re-stocking shelves.
Daily Responsibilities include
Providing customer service and information about products
Building customer relationships
Picking orders and re-stocking activities
Assisting to complete phone and email orders
Helping the team keep the warehouse and showroom tidy and safe
You will be ideal for the role if
You have previous experience in a customer facing / sales role. Or if you have hands-on experience in a trade environment. Experience with steel grades and sizes or bolts and fasteners is advantageous but is not essential.
You can accurately reconcile physical goods to a list - picking orders or receipting goods. Attention to detail is a must.
You can handle a physically demanding role. Loading and unloading heavy products during a Rockhampton summer.
You can use a computer and are quick to learn new computer software systems.
You want to develop a career and progress within the company.
You are open to working 4 hrs alternate Saturdays if / when required (all Saturday hours are paid at double time).
You have a clean license.

This role is Mon-Fri - however, there will be opportunities for overtime. Additionally, the business is open on Saturdays and there may be a need, from time to time, to provide weekend cover all paid at double time.
