As a member of the catering team at St. Catherine's, you will prepare high quality food and provide a great dining service to our residents, ensuring a high quality of life.
About the Role
* Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service, and assisting residents as required
* Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
* Working safely to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you'll need
* A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
* Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
* Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
* NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
