The building has been welcoming visitors into our 189 rooms for a long time, since 1962!A little taste of your day-to-dayManage and oversee all hotel operations in the absence of Management, during nights. The principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and colleagues and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function during the hours of 11pm – 7am.You’ll not only be the person guests rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also be in tune with your team, driving performance and engagement and ensuring they receive the right learning and development opportunities to maximise performance and maintain a positive and productive work environment.What we need from youAbility to generally work the hours of 11pm-7am Mon-Fri, with some flexibility required.Prior experience in completing Night Manager functions in a Hotel/Accommodation setting is preferred.Full Australian working rights without restrictionsWorking knowledge of hotel property management system, OperaMust be fluent in spoken and written EnglishComputer savvyBasic mathematics skillsExcellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skillsAbility to take the lead in emergency situations whilst remaining calm and supporting guests and the team through the eventWhat you can expect from usWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
