Trainer / Assessor – Certificate IV Government Security (Personnel Vetting)
Location: Open to NSW - ACT - QLD candidates

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Trainer / Assessor to deliver our Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting). This is a hands‐on role for someone with deep expertise in security vetting and a passion for capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and assess the Certificate IV Government Security (Personnel Vetting) program to a diverse range of participants.
Design, develop, and update training materials to align with current government security practices.
Mentor and support students, providing guidance on competency‐based assessments.
Maintain compliance with RTO standards, including record‐keeping and reporting.
Leverage your practical experience in security vetting to bring real‐world insights to the classroom
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
Certificate IV Government Security (Personnel Vetting)
ABN
RTO compliance credentials and familiarity with regulatory standards.
Demonstrated industry experience in personnel security and vetting, including NV2 and PV level clearances.
Proven experience in training and assessment
Experience working with online students (highly regarded)
Relevant industry currency and professional development
Experience with validations and QA
Personal Skills & Attributes
Outstanding communication skills to engage with students, management, and stakeholders
Exceptional organisational skills to manage your diary and ensure reliability
Excellence in providing feedback regarding assessments
A valid Driver's License and own vehicle for travel from time to time.
