Case Support Officer - Family Violence (Social work background)
OFFICIAL JOB TITLE – Case Support Administration Officer - CA
THE ROLE –
* Administrative Mainstay: Provide essential, high-level administrative support to Case Management teams across Inner and Outer Gippsland, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key liaison with external professional stakeholders to facilitate support and services for clients.
* Client Resource Management: Coordinate and organise essential client resources, including brokerage (vouchers and goods), to ensure timely access to support.
* Data & Records Integrity: Maintain accurate client records, prepare reports from systems like Passport, and manage crisis housing documentation (maintenance, condition reports).
* Team & Client Support: Directly assist practitioners with documentation (case notes, minutes) and promote a welcoming, safe environment for clients, including children and young people.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – what you will bring.
* A Commitment to Client Service: You are committed to providing client-focused services in line with policies and guidelines, underpinned by an understanding of the drivers, dynamics, and impacts of family violence.
* Minimum bachelor's degree in social work (or trauma related field) and experience appropriate to the field (refer to Position Description). A Diploma in Community Services will also be considered.
* Exceptional Administrative & Organizational Skills: You possess strong organisational skills, are proficient in record-keeping, data entry, and document preparation, and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective & Sensitive Communicator: You can communicate clearly, actively listen, and build collaborative working relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders professionally and sensitively.
* Resilience and Problem-Solving: You demonstrate resilience by handling challenging situations constructively, adopting a solution-focused approach, and applying critical thinking to develop practical solutions.
* Valid Victorian Driver's Licence |Working with Children Check |Police Check
