Business Development Manager – Fleet & Corporate
Mazda Australia is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager – Fleet & Corporate to join our WA State Office in Kewdale and grow our fleet and corporate presence across key business sectors.
In this strategic role, you will build strong partnerships with corporate customers, leasing companies, dealer networks, and key stakeholders while identifying new business opportunities, managing fleet solutions, and driving commercial growth across the Mazda brand. You'll work five days a week from the State Office and regularly visit corporate customers, leasing companies and dealer networks to foster collaboration, strengthen team connections, and ensure seamless support across the business. You'll also receive a new Mazda vehicle as part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive fleet and corporate sales growth through strategic business development initiatives
- Identify and secure new fleet and corporate opportunities
- Build strong relationships with corporate customers, leasing companies, dealers, and key stakeholders
- Prepare tender submissions and pricing recommendations
- Collaborate with National Fleet, Sales teams, and dealer networks to achieve business targets
- Influence senior decision‐makers and support the delivery of Mazda Fleet programs
- Manage fleet administration, reporting and evaluation of vehicle programs
About You
You are a commercially minded professional with strong industry knowledge and proven relationship‐building skills. Highly organised and proactive, you confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels and use your communication, negotiation and analytical skills to drive successful business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven business development experience within the automotive, fleet or finance industry
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience managing corporate accounts, fleet opportunities and tender submissions
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
- Highly motivated, organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Automotive industry experience is essential
- A completed degree qualification is highly regarded
