At Category 5, you'll recruit skilled and unskilled blue-collar and white-collar workers to meet client needs.
Duties & responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end labour hire recruitment for both blue-collar and white-collar roles
* Source, screen, and recruit skilled and unskilled workers using job boards, social media, and local networks
* Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and clients to understand their hiring needs and career goals.
* Coordinate interviews, assessments, and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and clients.
* Verify tickets, qualifications, and compliance documentation
* Allocate client and internal inductions and communicate job placement details
* Maintain an active candidate database and pipeline for future roles.
* Ensure all recruitment is compliant with workplace health and safety standards.
* Conduct drug and alcohol screenings (training provided)
* Advise clients on recruitment strategies and provide industry insights on hiring trends and talent availability.
* Adapt quickly to changing priorities and resolve issues under pressure
* Occasional early starts or after-hours contact (when required)
Skills & experience
* Proven experience in recruitment is preferred, but we value a strong willingness to learn.
* Strong understanding of the blue-collar and white-collar workforce, and the skills required for these roles, or a readiness to develop this knowledge.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and clients.
* Experience using recruitment software and job boards (Seek, Indeed, etc.) is a plus but not essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, high-volume environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Pro-active team player with strong initiative and a "no job too big or small" mindset
* Mine site experience advantageous
