The Role
We have an exciting position as a Teacher, Electrotechnology, at the Toowoomba Campus. As a TAFE Teacher you will deliver instruction and assessment in the classroom, online, and workplace, helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed.
This is a permanent full‐time role reporting to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
Salary range: $92,930 – $122,084 (gross) per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Mandatory Requirements
- UEE30811 Certificate in Electrotechnology
- Current industry skills relevant to the training and assessment provided
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that inform training and assessment
- Evidence of professional development in vocational training, learning and assessment, including competency‐based training and assessment
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence
- Current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
To qualify as a TAFE Teacher you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor
- TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
- TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development
- A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials
- TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor
- TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor
- A higher‐level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland)
Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience must be provided at interview.
Highly Desirable
- High level of digital literacy across various online learning management systems
- Minimum five years of industry experience in the Electrotechnology sector
