Game Worlds
is our new playable exhibition featuring 30 iconic games including World of Warcraft, The Sims and Neopets. We have lots of fun new merchandise in our Shop and need your enthusiasm, passion and retail experience to provide exceptional customer service.
What you'll bring to the role
Experience working in sales, ideally in a high-volume retail environment. A demonstrated passion for achieving targets and a talent for promoting products via visual merchandising.
Proven ability to operate computerised point of sale systems, accurately manage transactions, and reconcile daily takings.
Strong personal commitment to the delivery of high-quality visitor service within a retail / arts environment.
Proven capacity to operate calmly and effectively in an environment of high visitor volumes whilst ensuring accurate work and the safety of the public.
Applicants with a current valid Victorian Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one, plus the flexibility to work weekend as well as weekday shifts.
What we offer
This Grade 2 role is offered on a casual basis with an hourly rate of $38.01 plus super and allowances. ACMI is seeking flexible team members available to work weekdays and weekends. A current Victorian Working with Children Check is required.
