Overview
Guest Service Agent role at IHG Hotels & Resorts (Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes). Brand-new hotel with 155 contemporary rooms, versatile meeting spaces, a vibrant bar and a restaurant. Front Desk is the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. You'll deliver exceptional customer service to ensure guests have a great experience and stay, bringing the brand to life.
This is a part-time position, working a minimum of 20 hours per week with availability to work up to 38 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Supporting guests on arrival: champion the arrival experience and recognize IHG One Rewards Members
* Process check-in/check-out functions: general cashiering and processing of guest accounts
* Stay informed: keep up-to-date with daily events, group activities and guest feedback; familiarize yourself with the hotel's offerings and local attractions to provide thoughtful recommendations
* Assist in supporting the wider hotel team with other duties as required
What we need from you
* Minimum 6 months experience in a Guest Services / Administration / Reception position preferred
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain
* Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Business Administration related field preferred
* Flexible with nights, weekend and public holiday shifts
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous
* Good reading, writing, basic math, computer skills and familiarity with a Property Management System (PMS)
* Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 23 kg; may involve bending and kneeling
* Commitment to maintaining a high level of quality for guests at all times
