We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Financial Crime Detection Reporting team. The successful candidate will support regulatory reporting and compliance analytics initiatives, particularly around AUSTRAC obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain data routines for financial crime and regulatory reporting by utilizing advanced programming skills in SAS and SQL.
* Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources including Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server.
* Deliver timely and accurate metrics, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders through effective data visualization techniques.
* Enhance existing data systems, reporting tools, and control frameworks to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with the Financial Crime Transformation team and other divisions to improve data quality and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in SAS programming and SQL development (minimum 3 years).
* Expertise in data manipulation, ETL, and large-scale dataset analysis.
* Strong experience creating automated reports and clear visual dashboards using BI toolsets such as SAS BI or Tableau.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple data sources and ensure regulatory accuracy.
