Hamilton Island are seeking a passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Fish and Chip shop.
The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of food quality and service, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and lead a dynamic team to success.
Your Role You will assist the outlet management in ensuring a high standard of Food & Beverage service is provided by supervising and training Food & Beverage attendants in an enthusiastic and friendly manner in accordance with the service policy and standards to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
You will also: Supervise the operation of the outlet, supervise frontline Food & Beverage attendants and coordinate service to achieve consistency and a high level of guest satisfaction Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
Takes responsibility to ensure maximum guest satisfaction at all times Assist outlet management and Workplace Trainer with training of frontline Food & Beverage attendants Attend a Point of Sale (POS) terminal and perform cashiering duties such as receiving money, processing refunds and charging customers correctly for items purchased in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures including POS data entry.
Ensure all cashiering discrepancies are reported to the Manager with a detailed explanation Consistently develop and improve your product knowledge within the department to ensure you are able to take advantage of opportunities for up selling and suggestive selling Ensure the security and have full control of the cellar, store room or liquor store including the receipt, delivery and recording of goods Attend meetings, training and other duties as directed by the departmental manager Ensure Food Safe handling standards are practiced at all times and follow all HIE WHS policies & procedures Undertake other tasks as directed by your manager About You QLD or Nationally recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (Essential) Drivers Licence (Essential) Previous experience in a fish and chip shop or retail environment is desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
