Business Analyst Position
The role of a Business Analyst is to identify and articulate business needs and requirements, ensuring that technology solutions meet those needs.
This position will involve working closely with network engineers, IT operations, security teams, and clinical stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document requirements that will shape the remediation of the existing data center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews with technical and clinical stakeholders to gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
* Translate complex technical remediation needs into clear Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Technical Requirements Documents (TRD).
* Map and analyze current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes, data flows, and interdependencies.
* Develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for network changes.
* Act as a liaison between technical teams, project management, and business/clinical units.
* Facilitate communication, obtain sign-off on requirements, and present findings to both technical and executive audiences.
* Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical solutions against business needs.
* Assist in vendor proposal evaluations for hardware, software, and professional services.
* Support test strategy development and review test cases to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on large-scale IT infrastructure or network projects.
* Strong knowledge of data centre networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Routing/Switching, Virtualisation, Cloud Connectivity).
* Experience in network security and remediation projects is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, bridging technical and non-technical groups.
* Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies (workshops, interviews, use cases).
