The Parklife Metro consortium, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney's transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport line.
Employed under Webuild, we are seeking a motivated Site Engineer - Mechanical to join our delivery team.
You will support the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, playing a key part in the successful delivery of this critical rail facility.
This position is ideal for an engineer with mechanical experience who is looking to grow their skills on a high-profile transport infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for the installation and delivery of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Prepare and review technical documentation including method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and NCRs.
Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and report to senior engineers and project management.
Support quality assurance processes and drive compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Participate in design reviews, liaise with consultants, and provide input on constructability and technical solutions.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
Previous experience in a site engineering role within infrastructure, building services, or mechanical works is highly regarded.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of mechanical construction methodologies and relevant Australian standards.
A proactive, safety-focused approach with attention to quality and detail.
