Fitter

Responsibilities
- Carrying out maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner to support reliable plant operations
- Supporting production teams to achieve operational targets and maintain continuity of supply
- Identifying and resolving equipment issues to reduce breakdowns and repeat failures
- Maintaining accurate records within the SAP maintenance management system
- Monitoring plant and equipment condition to improve reliability and performance
- Supporting the operation of continuous process plant systems
- Managing spare parts inventory to ensure availability for maintenance activities
- Coordinating maintenance work, including contractors, in line with safety requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Maintenance Fitter (minimum 5 years)
- Trade qualifications in fitting
- Strong mechanical problem‐solving and troubleshooting capability
- Experience conducting risk assessments and working within safe systems of work
- Familiarity with Permit to Work systems
- Experience in the gas industry or a similar industrial environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Computer skills, including maintenance systems
