About the Opportunity
This exciting opportunity will see you join a UOW-led project focused on leveraging innovative additive manufacturing approaches to fabricate advanced alloy components.
The project is supported by the prestigious Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage program.
You will play a key role in enhancing Australia's sovereign capabilities in advanced alloy component manufacturing.
Position Requirements
To be successful, you must hold a PhD in materials science or advanced manufacturing.
High expertise in electron microscopy, neutron scattering, additive manufacturing, and mechanical property evaluation is essential.
Demonstrated skills in industry engagement, qualitative and quantitative research, and scientific publishing are also required.
A proven track record of high-quality publications is expected, and additional experience in alloy design, wire arc additive manufacturing, hot isostatic pressing will be highly regarded.
