The Role
The position is suitable for an administrator to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis. Wages are commensurate with your level of experience. The job tasks and responsibilities include:
* Handling incoming calls, enquiries, taking client bookings, and messages
* General administrative duties such as mail processing, purchasing office supplies, photocopying, scanning, filing, and archiving documents
* Maintenance of timesheets and work in progress
* Drafting invoices, letters, and emails
* Printing reports, tallying, and analyzing information
* Outbound calls to clients, suppliers, and government agencies
* General company secretarial duties
* Office housekeeping functions, including cleaning
About You
To succeed in this role, you should ideally meet the following criteria:
* Well presented, enthusiastic, punctual, reliable, with a good attendance record
* Current Australian driver's license and reliable transport
* Genuine willingness to learn
* Strong work ethic with a friendly and professional demeanor
* High spelling and grammatical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Accurate data entry and attention to detail
* Sound computer knowledge, including basic skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
* Studied business, bookkeeping, or accounting is a bonus
* Reside locally in Cairns
* Australian citizen or permanent resident
