About the role
The Vessel Master plays a pivotal role in the day‐to‐day safe and efficient operation of our vessels and their crew. The Vessel Master is responsible for navigation, crew leadership, safety drills, and management systems as well as reporting requirements. Clear communication, physical fitness, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines are paramount in the role.
This is a full‐time position working over a variety of shifts over a 4‐week roster working 2 weekends per month. As the position is based in Darwin, the successful candidate will need to be based locally or be willing to relocate to Darwin.
We are offering a competitive hourly rate starting from $45.16 per hour plus location allowances, weekend penalties and additional allowances for training, dual ticketing or working on our TIWI service.
