The Head Chef is a key position setting the standard for high quality kitchen management, with high-level responsibilities across kitchen systems, processes, people and culture, suppliers, compliance and service.
What you will be doing as Head Chef
- Creative menu development and execution.
- Costing menus, driving kitchen systems and processes to meet KPIs.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to the established standards.
- Foster a high-performing and positive workspace.
- Manage timesheets, rostering, personnel issues and have regular performance reviews with your team.
Who you are
- A natural leader – calm, efficient and collaborative
- You have a proven track record of managing kitchen operations to a high standard in a large venue.
- You're excited to be grow a venue and mentor your kitchen team
- Chef qualifications will be well-regarded. Must have full Australian working rights.
