About the job
* Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms including making beds with precision vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
* Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
* Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
* Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
* Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
* Building strong professional relationships with team members guests and contractors to help foster a positive respectful work environment.
Shift Details
* Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
* Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
* Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
* Saturday: $38.78 per hour
* Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
* Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
* Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
* Good physical fitness and stamina with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending lifting and standing for extended periods.
* Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests team members and contractors.
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
* Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
