About the Role
ARC Commercials is seeking a Senior Finish and VFX Producer to manage and deliver the finishing phase of our commercial projects - working across VFX, grade, online, and final delivery, while occasionally producing across editorial.
This is a senior role that sits at the centre of the post-production process. Under the guidance of our Executive Producers and working closely with Senior Finishing Artists, you'll be a key production voice across large-scale finishing projects - helping shape how work is scoped, approached, and delivered. You'll work across VFX and post strategy from pre-production through to delivery, while supporting consistency and shared standards across the wider post team.
We're looking for someone who understands both the craft and pace of commercial finishing - someone calm, highly organised, and confident managing multiple projects, while supporting creative teams and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to and lead the scoping and approach development for VFX and finishing on assigned projects, working closely with Executive Producers and Senior Finishing Artists.
* Prepare and own finishing bids, aligning creative ambition with schedule and budget.
* Support workflow design, resourcing, and timeline planning from pre-production through to delivery.
Project & Workflow Management
* Take ownership of assigned projects from editorial through to final delivery, ensuring continuity across all stages of post.
* Build and maintain schedules across editorial, VFX, grade, online, and delivery.
* Track milestones, manage priorities, and ensure projects move efficiently through the pipeline, communicating timelines and expectations clearly with clients and stakeholders.
* Identify risks early and proactively manage solutions to keep projects on track, maintaining transparency across teams and clients.
Editorial & Finishing
* Oversee workflows across VFX, colour, online and occasionally editorial, on assigned projects, ensuring alignment at key handover points.
* Work closely with senior finishing artists, editorial producers and VFX teams to scope, schedule, and track work.
* Manage reviews, approvals, and versioning with clarity and rigour.
* Maintain a clear overview of all post elements to ensure creative and technical consistency.
Client & Agency Management
* Act as a key point of contact for agencies, production companies, and directors across assigned projects.
* Manage attended sessions, reviews, and feedback with clarity and professionalism.
* Build trusted client relationships, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused presence under pressure.
Facility & Resource Coordination
* Manage suite bookings and coordinate internal and external artists across assigned projects, ensuring the right skillsets are matched to each job.
* Work closely with Executive Producers and Commercial Producers to align resources and flag any scheduling or capacity considerations.
Budgeting & Financial Tracking
* Prepare and manage post-production budgets on assigned projects, in collaboration with Executive Producers and Commercial Producers.
* Track costs across editorial, VFX, grade, and online, ensuring alignment with approved scopes.
* Manage scope changes and communicate financial implications clearly and early.
Technical & Delivery
* Ensure all deliverables meet required technical specifications across broadcast, digital, and platform requirements.
* Oversee final delivery, QC processes, and version control to ensure accuracy and consistency.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in finishing, post-production, or VFX production for commercials.
* Strong working knowledge of editorial, VFX, colour, online, and delivery workflows.
* Experience managing fast-turnaround commercial projects, with an appetite to take on larger, more complex work.
* Confident contributing to bids, scoping, and workflow planning.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with calm precision.
* Excellent communicator with strong client-facing experience.
* Collaborative, solutions-focused, and comfortable working under pressure.
* A genuine appreciation for craft, detail, and the post-production process.
