Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million+ personal and small business customers. Within RBS, the Wealth & Private Team is responsible for the full spectrum of a customer's wealth needs. It comprises teams focused on wealth creation and wealth protection, ranging from mass market to mass affluent to high‐net‐worth customer segments.
Do work that matters
As Senior Product Manager, Investing you will be responsible for strategic planning, product lifecycle management, and initiative delivery across cross‐functional teams to rapidly scale our micro‐investing products. This includes leading cross‐functional teams to plan and deliver new digital experiences, features or products, helping design the product roadmap to achieve our OKRs, managing key partnerships, pricing and policy, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet customer needs and risks are managed effectively.
On any given day you will;
* Transform the business and product strategies into pragmatic, actionable plans and execution to realise growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with other Senior Managers, Engineering Managers, Product Owners and Crew Leads around the Group to solve complex problems and deliver on the product and digital roadmap within an Agile framework.
* Develop and cascade insights and strategy updates to keep our proposition a head of market, assessing the external and internal environment.
* Analyse performance and delivery outcomes to ensure alignment with strategic goals and use data to enhance the customer experience and profitability.
* Empathise with the consumers' needs and segmentation to identify and prioritise new opportunities for growth, address breakpoints, features and functionality supporting the product vision and improve consumer NPS.
* Own the end‐to‐end product risk and control environment, including governance, issue identification, escalation, remediation and regulatory responses.
* Be a key point of contact for our internal and external business partners, ensuring we manage and enhance outcomes, jointly formulate product roadmaps and strategy, manage workflow, prioritise activities and deliver projects/initiatives.
We're interested in hearing from people who have.
* 5+ years product management experience, including 3+ years people/product leadership experience.
* Deep knowledge of Investing or Retail Banking digital distribution/sales.
* Entrepreneurial with a strong record of leading cross‐functional initiatives or experience leading matrix organisations that drove measurable product growth.
* Strong communicator with high judgement and a bias for clarity and action.
* Proven ability to influence product direction with market data backed by customer insight.
* Advanced commercial acumen, analytical, problem solving, decision‐making and time‐management capability.
