The Opportunity
Work within the owner’s project team delivering fluid power engineering across key project packages, from design through to construction and commissioning.
This is a hands-on project engineering role combining technical delivery, coordination and stakeholder engagement across all phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver fluid power engineering across assigned project work packages
* Oversee and contribute to design activities, ensuring multidisciplinary integration (P&IDs, specifications)
* Support procurement, scheduling and cost management within scope
* Participate in design reviews and safety studies (HAZOP, SIL)
* Provide technical support during construction and ensure design intent is maintained
* Support commissioning planning and execution
* Coordinate across project stakeholders, contractors and engineering teams
* Manage risks, resolve technical issues and drive timely outcomes
About You
* Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering qualification
* Experience in fluid power systems (design, installation, commissioning)
* Background in major capital projects or heavy industrial environments
* Strong understanding of engineering design processes and standards
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and project priorities
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Construction and commissioning experience highly regarded
