Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for an Audio Visual and IT Technician, based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some remote work. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV systems, including video conferencing solutions, lighting systems, and projectors. Other key responsibilities involve ensuring the seamless operation of AV equipment for events and providing technical support to clients during live events. Effective communication with teams and clients is essential to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications Proficiency in installing, operating, and maintaining Audio Visual (AV) systemsStrong troubleshooting skills and experience in identifying and resolving technical issuesKnowledge and experience with video conferencing systemsFamiliarity with lighting and projector systems for eventsExcellent technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as collaborate within a teamFlexibility to work on-site and remotely as required; willingness to travel for events is a plusRelevant certifications or experience in AV technology are advantageous
