About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
The Advisor, Project Systems and Digital Tools will support the VHBA Project Services team within Project Controls by developing and implementing strategies and tools to enhance the delivery of major health infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with various teams and requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
Key aspects of the role include:
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of SharePoint and Power BI platforms to ensure data integrity and usability.
Building strong stakeholder relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver effective project support.
Creating and presenting a range of high-quality accurate reports, briefs, and communications, while ensuring they are appropriate for their intended audience and purpose.
Leading the application of quality assurance concepts and frameworks in project planning and delivery activities.
We are looking for:
Technical expertise working within a Project Controls or Project Management Office (PMO) with strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated experience working with complex concepts, with the ability to apply analytical and conceptual thinking to solve problems and innovate. Previous experience in SharePoint and Power BI is required.
A confident problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to initiate and maintain relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
