MAYDAY Recruitment has partnered with a reputable and growing organization within the fire safety services industry, known for delivering critical fire protection, compliance, and safety solutions across commercial and residential properties.
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join their Dandenong based team on an immediate 6-week temporary assignment. As the first point of contact for clients, contractors, and visitors, you will play an important role in supporting daily operations and ensuring a positive customer experience in this fast-paced essential services environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors and providing a professional first impression for clients and stakeholders
* Managing a busy switchboard and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members
* Handling incoming emails, mail, and general office correspondence
* Coordinating meeting room bookings and maintaining reception and communal areas
* Supporting administrative functions including data entry, filing, document management, and record keeping
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Desk, Administration, or Customer Service role
* Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly approach
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Professional presentation and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
* Availability to commence immediately and commit to the full contract period
