NGM Group is looking for a detail-driven Data Quality Assurance Engineer to uphold and elevate data quality and integrity across our Enterprise Data Platform, The new Microsoft Cloud (Databricks and Azure Data Factory) will be the cornerstone of NGM Group’s data ecosystem. While bringing disparate data sources together, the Data Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in building reliable, trusted and high performing data foundations, helping to ensure that our downstream systems and teams have the insights they need to operation, innovate and grow.
What will your key responsibilities include?
* Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies focused on data integrity and platform reliability.
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project teams to set clear acceptance and exit criteria.
* Develop test plans, scenarios, cases, and user stories aligned to the Microsoft Cloud (Databricks & Azure Data Factory) environment.
* Drive defect resolution through all testing phases and contribute to root cause analysis.
* Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies across the data platform.
* Champion scalable, repeatable, and automated test frameworks and practices.
* Participate in Agile delivery cycles, proactively embedding quality across business and technical initiatives.
* Provide knowledge-sharing and guidance to team members on QA best practices.
* Facilitate internal and external testing workshops and document outcomes for release sign-off.
What are we looking for?
* Your experience in ETL / Microsoft Cloud (Databricks and Azure Data Factory) Platforms will see you hit the ground running with data pipeline testing and reconciliation.
* You will apply your testing experience in a highly regulated environment, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
* To undertake data validation and ensure data integrity, you will apply your proficiency in Microsoft SQL .
* You will have a toolkit of testing methodology to draw on to design and adapt test strategies, ideal for identifying defects.
* Your ability to communicate clearly will ensure you articulate problems and solutions with Engineers and cross-functional teams.
