Project supervisor

Solterra Homes is a design-led residential builder delivering high-quality architectural homes across Perth and the Hills.

We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee the construction delivery of custom homes and in-house development projects, working closely with our leadership and procurement team.

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in quality construction, runs organised sites, builds strong trade relationships, and enjoys being hands‐on where required.

Solterra is part of a broader group that also undertakes its own residential developments, offering exposure across both private client homes and internal projects.

As the business continues to grow, this role will play an important part in helping drive the next stage of the company's development.

About the role

Working closely with the Director and project team, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising residential construction projects from site start through to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors and managing construction scheduling
• Maintaining build quality, site presentation, and construction standards
• Working closely with procurement to ensure projects run efficiently
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and resolving site issues proactively
• Managing trade and supplier relationships
• Liaising with clients throughout the construction process
• Assisting with set out and practical on‐site tasks where required

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys building and takes ownership of their projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and problem solve effectively
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in the residential construction industry
• Experience within custom residential building is highly regarded, however experienced supervisors from volume residential backgrounds looking for a more quality-focused environment are encouraged to apply.
• Trade background preferred but not essential.
