About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing hands-on maintenance on complex electronic systems. This includes preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as supervising junior technicians and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and repair complex electronic equipment, including radar and air traffic control systems.
2. Supervise and mentor junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
3. Conduct troubleshooting and fault analysis to identify and resolve issues in real-time.
4. Work closely with other teams to integrate and validate new electronic equipment.
5. Manage configuration and maintenance records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III/IV in Electronics or equivalent qualification.
* Extensive experience in a technical industry, preferably with complex electronic systems.
* Proven experience with radar and/or air traffic control systems is highly desirable.
* Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
