Join the Building & Plumbing Commission as a Specialist Trainer, Plumbing in the Inspectorate team!
We are seeking an experienced Plumber who has a passion for continuous learning, educating others and excellence with training programs!
The role of Specialist Trainer, Plumbing is responsible for delivering high-quality training, assessment, and technical support for plumbing inspectors and compliance auditors across the Inspectorate.
This role aims to enhance theoretical knowledge, and safety awareness in plumbing, ensuring that these align with Australian standards and workplace expectations.
The Specialist Trainer will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to align training with current plumbing practices and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the training programs.
What we are looking for:
* Relevant plumbing trade qualification and extensive experience in the plumbing industry.
* Registered and licensed plumber in main classes of plumbing work as outlined under Part 12A of the Building Act 1993.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
* Prior experience in delivering training and assessment in vocational education is high desirable
