Job Description:
A senior structural engineer with extensive industry experience is sought to lead a team of skilled professionals in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across various sectors. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers in delivering high-quality design and asset integrity services
2. Conduct engineering investigations, design assessments, and oversee documentation
3. Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards
4. Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules
5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships
6. Prepare proposals and cost estimates for new business opportunities
7. Support team development and resourcing needs
8. Actively participate in business leadership and development initiatives
9. Promote continuous improvement and a safety-first culture

Requirements:
* Degree in Structural Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia)
* Minimum 7 years' relevant industry experience
* Chartered (CPEng) or working towards it, with eligibility for RPEQ/RPEV
* Strong knowledge of AS4100, AS1170, AS3600 and related standards
* Proficiency in structural software such as SPACEGASS, IDEA StatiCa, Strand7
* Strong ability to conduct hand calculations and technical reporting
* Experience with site inspections and structural integrity assessments
* Skilled in coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Current driver's licence
