At Halcyon Agency, we help ambitious founders and professionals grow their brand with short-form content through our proven system, Content OS. Our services include strategy, research, scripting, filming, editing, and distribution, delivering a full month’s worth of strategic content from just one monthly shoot.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Videographer who thinks like a Marketer to join our growing team in Concord, NSW. This is a full-time, on-site role where you’ll be responsible for end-to-end video production, from camera and lighting to editing and animation, with a solid marketing lens on every project.

You’ll work closely with our Creative Lead and Founder to create content that performs: builds brand, generates leads, and fuels paid campaigns and funnels. This role requires understanding both the art of content and the science of business growth through content.

Who You Are

- A videographer with taste: You frame, light, and capture content that feels polished and premium, even under pressure.
- A marketer in disguise: You understand content as a growth tool—organic reach, paid campaigns, and funnels.
- A post-production powerhouse: Skilled in DaVinci Resolve, editing long talks into captivating shorts, colour grading, text animation, and Fusion effects.
- A problem-solver on set: You can direct nervous founders, troubleshoot gear, and keep shoots running smoothly.
- A strategic creative: You think in systems and see how content can be repurposed across platforms and campaigns.
- Detail-obsessed: You ensure caption accuracy and smooth transitions that contribute to world-class quality.

What you'll own

- Pre-production: Plan and script content ideas with the Creative Lead and Founders.
- Production: Shoot high-quality talking head content on Sony FX3 (SLog3 workflow). May involve 2 angles, gimbal, or drone.
- Post-production: Edit, colour grade, animate, and deliver content that works.
- Creative direction: Collaborate with the Creative Lead & Founder to execute bold ideas.
- Quality control: Ensure every piece feels premium, consistent, and on-brand.

- Clients say: “That was the easiest, most professional experience I’ve had.”
- Content performs well on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, building trust and value.
- You raise the standard and set the benchmark for the team and clients.
