Alt. Hospitality Group is undergoing a major digital transformation, including a significant upgrade to our IT infrastructure. We're building a hybrid network environment that combines local and cloud servers—and we're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to lead the way. This role is key to ensuring secure, efficient, and resilient network operations as we evolve and scale.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud network infrastructure.
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
* Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and deploy network solutions.
* Support the integration of cloud services with existing network systems.
* Participate in the development of network security protocols and policies.
* Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients.
* Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and network protocols.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
* Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent.
