Speech Writer and Communications Strategist
This key role is responsible for crafting compelling speeches, messaging, and internal communication materials that align with the institution's vision, strategy, achievements, and narrative.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, providing strategic guidance on all matters related to communications and speech writing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and delivering high-quality speeches and presentations that support the senior leader's position as a thought leader and champion of innovative research and transformation education.
* Oversight of the strategic preparation of internal and external communication materials, including speeches, articles, commentaries, and thought leadership pieces.
* Collaboration with the senior leadership team, chief of staff, and stakeholders across the university to ensure effective communication and messaging.
* Proven ability to function effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and adhere to conflicting timelines while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

* Demonstrated high-level communication, writing, and interpersonal skills with a breadth of experience presenting to diverse audience groups.
* Highly motivated, confident, proactive self-starter with proven organisational aptitude, excellent attention to detail, sound judgement, and creativity in approach.
