Medium Rare Content Agency - Account Manager
Medium Rare Content Agency is seeking a strategic, solutions‑focused Account Manager to join our growing team on the CommBank portfolio .
In this role, you'll partner closely with our editorial team and report to the Account Director as you oversee a dynamic mix of content and creative assets across digital and print channels.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for BAU content and stakeholder liaison
* Proactively anticipate client needs and provide solutions to challenges or new opportunities
* Plan and prioritise weekly workflows, guiding the team on key tasks and deadlines to ensure efficient progress across all projects
* Manage feedback loops, timelines, workflows and approvals across concurrent workstreams
* Coordinate ad‑hoc content projects and one‑off briefs with internal and client stakeholders
* Maintain up‑to‑date production schedules and proactively flag risks, roadblocks and opportunities
* Lead end‑to‑end negotiations and relationship management with talent agents and creators, overseeing fees, usage agreements and all essential contractual terms
* Attend shoots and ambassador content windows as needed, working alongside the creative team to ensure efficient execution, exceed client expectations and maintain a positive experience for all involved
* Assist in forecasting and managing costs for campaigns and ongoing content franchises
* Support the Account Director in proposals, content calendars and campaign wrap‑ups
* Work closely with the content team to uphold editorial standards and drive creative outcomes

* A team player who's calm under pressure, comfortable working autonomously, and great at juggling multiple priorities
* Proactive, solutions‑oriented and passionate about content that makes a difference
* Ideally, you have 4+ years in an account management or client service role in publishing, content marketing, or a related field
* Experience in the finance, professional services or highly regulated sectors is valued but not essential

This role is Sydney‑based, working from our Pyrmont office on a hybrid arrangement (three days in the office).
