National Immunisation Training Specialist
The role of National Immunisation Training Specialist focuses on developing and implementing a culturally appropriate vaccination training program to support the sector's capacity to increase national immunisation rates.
This specialist will work closely with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community leaders, and government agencies, to deliver targeted health promotion initiatives.
The goal is to equip Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about vaccination.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian Immunisation Program Schedule and the immunisation policy context. Experience in delivering health promotion projects or policies and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive vaccination training program for healthcare professionals and community members
