**About the role**
As a Commercial / Sales Manager, you will develop and execute commercial strategies that support business objectives, identify opportunities, and deliver commercial results. The role will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for developing the annual account strategy, planning and performance analysis and initiatives to maximise volume, profit, and market share performance.
**Responsibilities**
The successful applicant will have a high level of commercial acumen with the following skills and experience:
Commercial Management
- Build sustainable partnerships with key customers to drive category growth
- Deploy brand initiatives that deliver the overarching brand strategy
- Ensure the distribution and pricing objectives are achieved by channel and customer type to deliver growth strategy
- Continually review and propose improvements on trade servicing model to deliver an efficient route to market
Account Management
- Develop and execute joint customer business plans
- Promotional planning, ranging, sales forecasts and budgets, price increases and negotiations
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and processes to improve productivity
**Requirements**:
- At least 5-8 years' experience in a top FMCG trade role (including National Sales Management & Business Development experience
- Strong negotiation & advanced presentation skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders
