The opportunity
We are in the market for a suitably experienced, motivate andenthusiastic Commercial Services Officer who has excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, is able to build rapportwith internal stakeholders and maintains positive workingrelationships.
As a Commercial Services Officer, you will work closely with theProperty, Procurement and Contract Services Teams. The roleincludes the coordination of internal meetings, the administrationof trading permit inquiries and applications, and the developmentand publication of registers as required under legislation. Youwill assist with internal inquiries relating to procurement,contracts and property services to direct internal stakeholders tothe correct resources.
To be successful in this role, you will need
* Attainment of, or working towards, a certificate inbusiness administration, procurement, property or contractmanagement.
* Three years' experience in the delivery ofadministrative services in a local or state government settingis highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in a commercial services orproperty or procurement team including knowledge andunderstanding of policies, guidelines and procedures within alocal government or public sector environment.
* Proven ability to work under pressure to meet strategic,team and individual performance targets.
* High level of attention to detail and strong workethic.
