The Role
We are seeking a Team Leader / Leading Hand to oversee and guide our on-site carpentry team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. As a leader, you will mentor team members, communicate with clients and builders, and uphold Zecon group's reputation for exceptional outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leadership and Coordination: Lead morning meetings, delegate tasks, and manage workflows to ensure smooth project execution.
* Project Oversight: Interpret plans and schedules, organize tasks, and ensure materials are available for efficient progress.
* Quality Assurance: Uphold strict quality standards, inspect work for accuracy, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
* Team Development: Mentor and guide team members, fostering skill development and maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.
* Client and Builder Liaison: Communicate professionally with clients, builders, and supervisors to maintain strong relationships and address project needs.
* Problem Solving and Reporting: Proactively address challenges, provide solutions, and report progress to management.
