About the role:
As the HSE Manager, you will:
* Lead the development and execution of KDAu’s national HSE strategy across our facilities.
* Build and implement HSE systems, policies, and procedures that drive continuous improvement and support our defence industry standards.
* Manage audits, risk assessments, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure a proactive safety culture.
* Support leadership in building environmental, social and governance (ESG) accountability.
* Influence and educate stakeholders at all levels, from technicians to executives.
* Work in a collaborative, purpose-driven team with significant growth ahead.
What you'll Bring:
* You bring demonstrated experience in leading HSE management systems in complex, high-compliance industries (Defence, manufacturing, or engineering preferred).
* You hold tertiary qualifications in HSE (or equivalent).
* You are strategic, hands-on, and capable of driving change in a scaling environment.
* You have exceptional communication, reporting, and influencing skills.
* You’re ready to step into a national leadership role at a critical time of growth.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
