Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Quality Assurance (QA) to lead our Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). This role is pivotal in driving quality across all technology initiatives, ensuring robust performance testing, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in QA methodologies, performance testing, and team leadership, along with strong project, stakeholder, and change management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE): Define and implement QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
* Performance Testing Oversight: Establish and manage performance testing protocols to ensure system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness.
* Project Management: Oversee QA project planning, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables to align with business goals.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, and Operations to align QA efforts with business objectives.
* Change Management: Drive QA transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools, processes, and methodologies.
* Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QA team; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
* Quality Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs and regularly report on QA performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
Requirements:
* Proven experience (10+ years) in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Strong expertise in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
* Demonstrated success in project management within agile and hybrid environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience leading change management initiatives in QA or technology functions.
* Strong team management and leadership capabilities.
* Familiarity with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is a plus.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications in QA, Agile, or Project Management (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, SAFe).
* Experience setting up or scaling a Testing Center of Excellence.
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
