CrewSELECT are supporting our client in their search for a Production Manager in their busy workshop in Henderson.
**Job Overview**:
- Managing day to day labour in the workshop. - Workshop is operating from 6:30 am.
- Stores, sheet metal fabrication, electrical switchboard assembly, switch room construction and fit-out, and electrical testing.
- Quality control on jobs conducted within the workshop and conduct regular checks/audits.
- Coordinate and prioritise jobs accordingly.
- New employee inductions and onboarding.
- Cost control and productivity within the workshop.
- Regular reporting of manufacturing progress against baseline targets and updating baseline targets when required.
- Liasing with the General Manager on job progress and completion dates.
- Build and maintain relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.

**About you**:
- Previous experience working in Production or Construction Management.
- Relevant trade qualifications - Electrical Engineering/Design and/or Electrical Trade-related background.
- A solid commitment toward quality and safety.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Thorough understanding of production planning best practices and methods.
- Excellent schematic, control, single line drawing experience with some electrical design capability.
- A strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- A motivated attitude and willingness to motivate/train others. - Building a strong team.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can do' attitude.
