Senior Maintenance Fitter - Meat Production
Location: Wheatbelt Region, WA
Salary: Circa $120,000 - $130,000 + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday
We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established meat production operation in the Wheatbelt region. This is a permanent, Monday-Friday role offering an attractive salary package and long-term stability.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of fixed plant and production equipment within a fast-paced processing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance of fixed plant and production equipment
* Fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
* Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance requirements
* Providing technical support and mentoring to junior trades where required
About You
* Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' experience, ideally within the meat production or food manufacturing industry
* Strong experience with fixed plant maintenance
* Sound working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and reliability
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
