Barista and Guest Service Team Member
Our cafe is seeking experienced baristas and guest service team members to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, interacting with guests, and supporting your fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages to our discerning guests.
* Ensure a clean and organised workspace, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Train and mentor junior baristas to ensure a smooth workflow.
* Dial in grinders to our bespoke espresso recipe.
* Interact with guests, taking their orders, answering their questions, and providing exceptional service all-round.
* Assist with opening and closing duties, including managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
* Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista and Front of House team member.
* Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment or kitchen operations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Availability to work weekends is essential.
