About the Role:
You will be responsible for producing accurate workshop and fabrication drawings, liaising with sales technicians, and ensuring designs meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and 3D models
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Liaise with sales technicians and workshop leaders as required
* Revise drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes, Australian / International Standards and Internal Standards
* Interpret and convert conceptual designs, sketches, and measurements into accurate technical drawings.
* Maintain up-to-date drawing records and revision controls.
About You:
* Previous experience as a Draftsperson in metal fabrication
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Qualification in engineering (certificate III minimum)
* Understanding of, or experience in, manufacturing or engineering environments
